A great website cannot guarantee a sale.

Sadly it has been observed on three separate occasions, that after building beautiful websites and then running them over Adwords.

The outcome is lack of conversion and an unhappy business owner. Why?

We see a product or service we feel we can offer. We start the project, of course need a website.

The product goes to market and conversion is not there.

As I write this, my intention is to highlight the vital importance of a Unique selling position based on market research and surveying the market place. All parts which make up a business plan.

The point today is simple: Know your customers:

There are a many great websites that have come and gone. Yet the poorest websites have succeed not by luck rather simple and true market understanding.

In closing, A great website cannot guarantee a sale.

Knowing your customers, your market, Knowing exactly what they are after and knowing how you as a business you can provide that.
